Crop a batch of product photos to the same box
Shoot forty photos of one product on the same table and every one of them has the same fault: too much table. Cropping them one at a time in a phone gallery is an afternoon, and no two come out quite the same shape, which is exactly what a listing grid makes obvious.
Here you drag the box once, on the first image, and it is applied to all of them. The box is held as proportions of the picture rather than as pixels, so a 4000-pixel photo and a 1200-pixel one crop to the same part of the frame instead of to the same number of pixels.

How it works
- Add the batch. Photos shot in one session, in one position, are the batch this is built for. Mixed folders are better split into groups and run separately.
- Pick a shape. Square 1:1 is what a main listing image wants on Amazon and Flipkart. 4:5 and 3:4 are the portrait shapes fashion listings use. 4:3 and 16:9 are for banners. Leave the shape unset and you can drag any rectangle you like.
- Drag the box. Drag inside the box to move it, or press anywhere outside it to draw a new one. With a shape chosen, the box holds that ratio while you drag it. It works with touch as well as a mouse.
- Check what it will cut. The box is shown over the first image only. Scroll the grid and satisfy yourself the product sits in roughly the same place in the rest of them before you export.
- Export. Every image is cropped to the same proportions and comes back as a ZIP called cropped-images.

Your files stay on your computer
This runs inside your browser tab. The file is read and written on your own device and is never uploaded — not the order PDF, not the customer names and addresses printed on it. There is no upload endpoint to send it to.
Questions
- The crop is right on the first photo and wrong on the last one. What happened?
- The same box is used for every image, so it only lands correctly where the product sits in roughly the same place in each frame. A handheld shoot drifts across forty shots. Group the photos by how they were taken and run each group with its own box, or shoot the set from a fixed position.
- Why is the box a proportion instead of pixels?
- Because a real folder is rarely all one size. Ten per cent in from the left means the same part of the picture whether the photo is 4000 pixels wide or 1200, which is what you want when the batch came off two different cameras or a mix of phones.
- Which shape for a main listing image?
- Square. Amazon and Flipkart both show main images in a square frame, so a square crop is what survives the thumbnail without odd bars. Fashion is the exception - portrait images are the norm there, which is what the 3:4 and 4:5 settings are for. Check your seller panel before a large batch.
- Can I crop each photo differently in one run?
- No - avoiding exactly that is the point of the tool. What you can do is drop the odd ones out of the run with the x on their card, crop the rest, then add those few back and crop them with a second box.
- Does cropping lose quality?
- The crop itself only discards the pixels outside the box; what is left is untouched. Saving as JPG encodes the result again, which costs a little, so choose the Best quality setting if the file will be edited later. PNG output avoids that loss entirely at the cost of a much larger file.
