Remove pages from a PDF

An order PDF from a marketplace panel is rarely all labels. There is a tax invoice behind each one, a terms page at the front, a blank sheet where a section ended. Send that straight to a thermal printer and it prints all of it - label roll you paid for, spent on pages nobody reads.

This shows every page in the file as a picture and asks you to cross out the ones you do not want. There are no page numbers to work out from a document you are already looking at: the page itself is the control, and a page you cross out by mistake goes back with one press.

How it works

  1. Add the PDF. Drop it on the page or press Add a PDF. Every page appears as a card below, and the pictures are drawn as they come near the screen so a 150-page file does not stall before it shows you anything.
  2. Cross out what you do not want. Each card has a cross in its corner. Press it and the page greys out rather than disappearing, so you can still see what you dropped and where it sat in the file.
  3. Change your mind. Undo last removal puts back the most recent one, and again the one before it. Ctrl+Z or Cmd+Z does the same. Put every page back restores the whole file in one press.
  4. Download what is left. The button counts for you - it reads Download 28 pages, not just Download - and the file is saved as yourfile-pages-removed.pdf.

What it handles

  • Every page rendered as a picture, drawn as it scrolls into view
  • Crossed-out pages grey out instead of vanishing, so the file you are editing still reads as the file you opened
  • Undo one page at a time, in the reverse of the order you removed them, with Ctrl+Z and Cmd+Z wired up
  • A single press to restore every page and start again
  • A running count in the sidebar: 28 of 40 pages kept
  • The export button names the number of pages you are about to download
  • Removing the last surviving page is refused - a PDF with nothing in it is not a file anyone can use
  • Kept pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and barcodes stay vector

Your files stay on your computer

This runs inside your browser tab. The file is read and written on your own device and is never uploaded — not the order PDF, not the customer names and addresses printed on it. There is no upload endpoint to send it to.

Questions

The invoice is on the same page as the label. Can this drop it?
No, and it is worth knowing before you start. This works a page at a time: a page is either kept whole or removed whole. When a single A4 sheet carries the shipping label in one corner and the tax invoice underneath, what you need is the label cropper, which cuts the label out of the page and leaves the rest behind.
Does it change my original file?
No. The file you dropped in is only read. What you download is a new document built from copies of the pages you kept, saved under a different name, so the original is still sitting in your downloads folder untouched.
Can I do several files at once?
No, one file at a time - the grid is showing you one document's pages, and a mixed grid of pages from four files is how the wrong page gets crossed out. If you have several, merge them first and remove pages from the merged file.
Can I keep the removed pages as their own file?
Not from here. This hands you what is left, and the pages you crossed out are simply not copied. If what you actually want is the small half rather than the large one, the extract tool does the opposite job and gives you only the pages you pick.
Is the file uploaded so the pages can be removed?
No. The document is read, the pages are copied and the new PDF is written entirely inside this browser tab. The order details printed on those pages never reach a server, because the product has no upload endpoint to reach.
