Why do my Meesho labels print sideways?

Because the label is landscape on a portrait A4 page. Most tools crop the right rectangle and stop there, which leaves the printer to place a wide label on a tall one and turn it on its side. This applies a quarter turn as part of the crop, so what comes off the roll is already the right way up.

Does it add the SKU to the label like the Amazon tool does?

No, and deliberately. Meesho already prints a Product Details table on the label with the SKU, size, quantity and colour in it. Adding our own line would put the same SKU on the sticker twice, which a packer can easily read as two separate items.

Will the Valmo QR code still scan?

Yes. The label is copied across as vector artwork rather than re-rendered as an image, so the QR and the Code-128 barcode are the same shapes they were in Meesho's own file. Re-drawing them as a picture is where scanning trouble comes from, and that is what this avoids.

Is my order file uploaded anywhere?

No. The whole thing runs inside your browser tab, so the PDF is read and written on your own computer. Your customers' names, addresses and phone numbers never reach us, because there is nowhere on our side for a file to go.

Can it keep the tax invoice as well?

Yes, it is a setting. Off gives you labels only, which is what most people want for thermal printing. On keeps the invoice half as its own page after each label, for sellers whose courier still asks for a printed copy in the packet.

Crop Meesho labels to 4x6 and turn them upright

A Meesho sub-order sheet is one A4 page carrying two things: the shipping label across the top, and the tax invoice underneath it. Printed as it comes, every parcel costs you two labels off the roll and a pair of scissors.

There is a second problem particular to Meesho. The label is landscape - wider than it is tall - sitting on a portrait page, so even a clean crop comes out of a 4x6 printer lying on its side. This finds the label, drops the invoice, and turns it a quarter so it prints the way round a packer expects to hold it.

How it works

Download the sub-order labels. In Meesho Supplier Panel, download the label PDF for your orders as you normally would - one file for the whole batch is fine.
Drop it in. The sheets are recognised as Meesho automatically, from the Valmo and Meesho wording on the label. Add several files if you download in batches through the day.
Check the preview. The first few labels are drawn as they will print, upright on a 4x6 page with the invoice gone. If a sheet looks wrong, it is better to see it here than after a hundred have come off the roll.
Export. One PDF, every label cropped and turned, sorted the way you asked, ready to send to the printer.
